So far this season I have passed up several offers to go back to Europe in hopes that my Italian citizenship paperwork would come through which would allow me to have a top paying job even with all of the current NHL players taking up the limited North American import slots. I did have a contract to go back to Switzerland that I was going to accept but we found out that I still have some games left on my suspension from last year and that wouldn't have helped the Swiss team as they were trying to make the playoffs. At this point it is getting late in the year in Europe and it appears that my Italian paperwork has hit some holdups. Recently I have had a number of opportunities to play for different minor league teams here and have decided that in this frustrating lockout effected season that it would be in my best interests to play here, stay in shape, and keep my insurance. I am happy to say that I have signed with Las Vegas. A few of my ex teammates are in Vegas including Mike McBain who played with me in Tampa Bay. You may see me being traded to another team in a few weeks if Las Vegas does not figure in the playoff race. It may take me a bit to get in shape but I hope I can help them. Hello to all Jason Bonsignore Fans,

We start unfortunately with some bad news for all of you Jason Fans out there. Just a few short hours ago we learned that Jason had been dismissed under the guidance of the EHC Biel. The reason for Jason's dismissal was due to an apparent "attack" on a linesman. The federation have seen fit to ban Jason for ten games.

Jason is one of the greatest players to have ever graced us here in Biel. The fans here in Biel fully support Jason and thank him for everything he has done.
